At the core of the XQ.Eujoy project lies the profound connection between journalism and education. It is this very synergy that has inspired the birth of XQTheNews. 

XQTheNews is a transnational education-based news portal to empower young journalists to counter disinformation, aiming to share best practices among journalists and foster transnational cooperation among media and educational organisations.

The project is geographically focused on Spain, Portugal and Italy, and it aims to overcome the historical qualitative deficit in the youth press of these southern European countries, offering new collaborative mechanisms.

The XQTheNews portal is now available in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and English, but we aim to incorporate all official languages of the EU throughout its progressive development, leading to a fully cross-national European portal with correspondents in all countries.
