Fundació Periodisme Plural
Fundació Periodisme Plural (FPP) is a non-profit initiative launched in 2013 by a group of Catalan journalists and intellectuals with the intention of defending the exercise of independent journalism and the values of progress and solidarity.
The Foundation was born in response to a recession, which began in 2008, and is now facing a new crisis. At that time, we thought it necessary to explore new ways to preserve the independence of journalism. We consider that, for that purpose, the best corporate formula was a foundation, and that is why we constitute an entity whose purpose is the defense of free journalism and progressive values.
